Footballer Matěj Šindelář, a native of nearby Kozlov, started playing at the age of nine for Hertha's pupils, then moved to Amateure, later Austria Vienna, at the age of twenty-one and wore the jersey of this famous team until the end of his career, a full fifteen seasons. He had a subtle physique and was called Der Papierene (The Paperboy) by his fans. The Paper Man was everything the best strikers were: he was a great tackler, passer and scorer.
You can see the Austrian Cultural Forum exhibition until 31 December 2017 in the school's entrance area.
